eMedical’s integrated system streamlines the processes involved in scheduling, patient registration, billing, clinical care and EOB posting. Practice workflow begins with the front desk scheduling an appointment for the patient. Our patient portal will allow the patient to register online with their demographics and insurance information. Each provider's daily schedule is displayed in the scheduler with patients schedule, insurance, eligibility information and patient previous dues. Front desk can check-in the patient right from the scheduler. Their encounter and bill will be created automatically.
RN/Medical assistant will check-in the patient and lead the patient to their room after taking physicals. Provider will then meet with the patient, work on their clinical chart and complete their notes. Doctor has the ability to see the patient’s medication history, e-prescribe, view or order the labs and suggest a follow-up if needed. At check-out, follow-up appointment will be created and procedure codes and diagnosis codes will be added to the bill and sent for the claim. Claim will be routed to the payer through our clearinghouse. Claim will be validated before submission to the payer for initial verification. Response will be posted to the claim once the claim is accepted by the payer (within an hour). EOBs will be posted to the claim/bill automatically after the claim is cleared from the payer.
