Humble Beginnings
We were intimately familiar with the challenges – the struggle to track payments, the frustration of lost patient follow-ups, and the disjointed clinical services. It got to the point where we were on the brink of shutting down the practice. But instead of giving up, we decided to create a lifeline.
Out of those very challenges, eMedicalPractice was born. It was designed to be a true game-changer – a technology that aligns with healthcare providers instead of getting in their way.
The Journey
We quickly achieved Meaningful Use certification when CMS introduced the requirements. In the process, we identified and filled significant gaps between clinical services and the billing process. Our unique mobile app solution, CARIEE bridges these gaps, enabling providers to efficiently track inpatient census and manage follow-ups.
eMedicalPractice’s solutions went through rigorous testing and received ONC-ACB Certification for Stage 1 in 2010, Stage 2 in 2014, the 2015 Edition in 2017, and the ONC-ACB Cure Act 2015 in 2023. Additionally, our commitment to secure and efficient data exchange was recognized with EHNAC-HNAP certification in 2021 and a successful recertification in 2023 under the DirectTrust EHNAC-HNAP Program.
